The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, service-driven leader who can run day-to-day operations,
grow the business and shape our customer experience both in-house and online.

You Will

The Suffolk Arms is a vibrant bar & restaurant in Cheltenham with a true 50/50 split between food and drink. We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused General Manager to lead the daily operation and work closely with the owners to deliver exceptional experiences.

This is a front-of-house role where you’ll set the tone on the floor, inspire the team, and make sure every service runs smoothly. You’ll take ownership of everything from staff development, rotas, and training to sales, stock, and GP performance. Events, busy nights, and high standards are all part of the job—and we want someone who thrives on it.

We’re looking for someone who knows both food and drink operations, leads by example, and is commercially sharp. Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and passionate about hospitality? You’ll fit right in.
