Restaurant Floor Manager

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, service-driven leader who can run day-to-day operations,
grow the business and shape our customer experience both in-house and online.

You Will

  • Lead daily front-of-house service and team leadership
  • Oversee rotas, training, and service standards
  • Drive revenue through extended opening hours and improved guest flow
  • Manage bookings, events and customer communications
  • Work closely with the kitchen and higher management teams
  • Take ownership of online reputation — especially TripAdvisor
  • Manage social media updates and guest engagement
  • Support development of new offerings across The Choptank

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a floor manager, assistant manager, or senior FOH supervisor
  • Confident leading a team in a fast-paced service environment
  • Strong communication and guest-care skills
  • Experience with online reviews and reputation management (TripAdvisor focus)
  • Comfortable with social media posting and customer interaction
  • Commercially aware — able to think about revenue, labour cost, and margins
  • Motivated, organised and passionate about hospitality

Weekend Bar Staff – 10 Hours (2 Evenings)

We are seeking enthusiastic, professional Bar Staff to join our growing and dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing excellent customer service, preparing
and serving beverages, and ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained
at all times. Previous experience in hospitality is essential, but full venue training will
also be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and with knowledge to customers
  • Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist in replenishing stock and checking inventory levels regularly
  • Engage with customers to enhance their experience and foster a welcoming environment
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including responsible alcohol service
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is essential
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
  • Familiarity with wines, spirits, and other wet products is required
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
